A small family run business situated in the hills of Molise in the territory of Montenero di Bisaccia about 200 metres above sea level and 10 kilometres from the Adriatic coast. About 300 olive Trees from 40-100 years old that have always belonged to the Marrafino family.
The olives are harvested and transformed within 24 hours by means of a mechanical machine harvest producing the best quality product and above all, having great nutritional value.
Production varies according to the year but generally it is around 60-70 tonnes a season. The yields are medium to low because the harvest takes place at the beginning of the season which gives the oil its colour, sent and bitter, spicy taste that makes it stand out amongst other oils.
